Bus Passes & Routes

Bus Passes (Ride Sponsors and Q Card sales) Ride Sponsors Help Employees Cut Transportation Costs

When your company signs on as a METRO Ride Sponsor, you will be able to manage METRO Q® Fare Cards for employees while taking advantage of tax benefits associated with employee transit programs and payroll deductions for transit fares. This helps your employees save money with the added convenience of having an employer transportation program managed at their worksite. We’ll work to create a program that’s as much a benefit to your employees as it is to your business. METRO offers many different bus routes, Transit Centers, plus convenient Park & Ride locations featuring direct connections to Downtown, Uptown/Galleria, Greenway, the Texas Medical Center and more. So, whether your business is Uptown, Downtown or at the edge of town, METRO’s bus service moves your employees quickly and safely.

Fort Bend Express Commuter Shuttles

Fort Bend Express is the name of two commuter bus routes managed by First Transit and funded by Fort Bend Transit. The routes are Fort Bend Express Greenway Plaza and Fort Bend Express Uptown/Galleria.

Both routes originate from two park and ride lots in Fort Bend County along Highway 59 South: the U of H Sugar Land campus at University Blvd. and Hwy 59 and the AMC Movie Theatre parking lot at Sweetwater Blvd. and Town Center Blvd. at Hwy 59.

The Fort Bend Express Greenway Plaza makes an additional stop at the METRO West Bellfort P&R lot where riders closer in can board to go to Greenway and where riders can transfer to METRO routes to downtown Houston and Texas Medical Center.
